Problem Note 59321: DI_ETL_Geo_prod_purge_job does not purge DI_MON.UNBALANCED_*_HIER tables
The SAS® Merchandise Intelligence DI_ETL_Geo_purge_job does not use the DI_MON.UNBALANCED_PRODUCT_HIER or DI_MON.UNBALANCED_GEOGRAPHY_HIER tables.
This issue might mean that items that should be purged are not purged. For example, if there are 7 levels in a product hierarchy and a level 5 product is loaded into the DIDM_STG.STG_GEO_PROD_PURGE_LIST, then all level 6 and level 7 children of that product should be purged. However, if there are level 6 children in the DI_MON.UNBALANCED_PRODUCT_HIER table, then they are not purged.
This issue might also cause there to be nodes in the DI_MON.UNBALANCED_PRODUCT_HIER or DI_MON.UNBALANCED_GEOGRAPHY_HIER tables for which there are no corresponding nodes in the DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM or DI_DM.GEOGRAPHY_DM tables. For example, if there are 7 levels in a product hierarchy and a level 6 product that does not have any level 7 children is loaded into the DIDM_STG.GEO_PROD_PURGE_LIST, then the product is removed from DI_DM.PRODUCT_DM and other tables, but it is not removed from DI_MON.UNBALANCED_PRODUCT_HIER.
